The Fire Marshal Training Course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to act as a designated Fire Marshal (or Fire Warden) in care home settings and other workplaces. This comprehensive course covers fire safety legislation, fire prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures, ensuring that participants can confidently manage fire risks and respond effectively in the event of an emergency.
Specially designed for care home staff, the course highlights the unique challenges faced in environments with vulnerable individuals. Learners will learn how to conduct fire risk assessments, develop evacuation plans, and use firefighting equipment. For in-person sessions, a hands-on demonstration of fire extinguishers is included to enhance practical understanding.
Upon completion, learners will have the knowledge to help maintain a safe workplace, promote fire safety awareness, and fulfil legal responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 / Fire Safety Act 2021. Successful learners will be awarded a Fire Marshal Certificate.
